ARCH 5670 | SUMMER 2020 ARMATURES AND APERTURES In this studio that instructed by Professor McBribe. I explored the themes of aperture and armature. An aperture is defined simply as a hole or an opening, where it has a direct and historical relevance to architecture: the admittance and control of light within the building. An armature suggests structure, and is historically defined in militaristic terms. These two terms given students to explore how they are implemented within an architectural project.
